Duramax L5P Metal Belt Tensioner Pulley Upgrade 2017-2024 ! John C Garage

Here at John C Garage, we like to solve problems! Not only do we solve problems, but we make them better than factory. With the 2017-2024 Duramax L5P, we have seen time and time again the plastic pulley on the factory belt tensioner fail and leaving the truck inoperable! (See 2nd photo for example) We have come up with a metal steel pulley that can directly replace the plastic pulley that is prone for failure! Even if you haven't experienced this failure yet, this is something you throw in the glovebox or under your back seat for when it comes time to replace! It's also not a bad idea to change preventatively because when your factory plastic pulley does fail, it can take out the clutch fan wiring with it which can be a much bigger issue than a simple pulley change.

Metal Steel pulley with a brand new AC Delco belt tensioner which we install prior to shipping out. (Recommended for higher mileage trucks)
