Universal Hood Stack LML Duramax

2011-2016 Duramax LML Universal Hood Stack Kit. This kit will work for both the Chevy and GMC Duramax trucks from 2011-2016 running the factory VGT turbo or any VGT drop in turbo, however the 11-14 GMC trucks will have this tip going through the plastic cowl on the hood. Please see the last picture for a rough idea of where the tip placement would go. 
 
Here at John C Garage, we built this kit with quality and fitment in mind! Using all stainless steel piping that is professionally tig welded together, you can assure it will meet all expectations. It is universal but can be fitted to work on the 2011-2016 LML Duramax 2500-3500HD pickup trucks running the factory VGT turbo or a drop in style turbo. We now have options for a 5" or 6" tip. The pictures shown bolted to the hood is 5". The very last picture is our 6" tip.
 
 This will not fit any other style turbo setup such as a full frame Borg Warner S300, S400 or compound setup. 
 
 
A few things to keep in mind that are absolutely required to run this kit on your truck.
 
You will need a Y bridge kit that has a one piece intake (see photos for example) If your truck has a two piece intake with an intake horn this will not work. If you do not have a one piece intake, you can modify this kit to work, but will require fabrication work on your end. We have had customers buy this and rework it to fit their intake set up. We do sell the one piece intake kits HERE
 
You will need a coolant bypass kit which is included in the Master Kit option.
If you are unsure about the coolant bypass being on your truck, there is a metal tube that goes down on the passenger side of the turbo to the bell housing from factory and the bypass kit replaces that with a plug and oring. Click here for coolant bypass kit
 
It is highly recommended to also purchase the hood stack cover which we do keep in stock. Please see our listing for the hood stack cover to prevent any water or debris while the truck is parked/not being used! We can't be held responsible for any damage done to your vehicle when not using a cover. This option can be selected in the drop down.

This option would be used if you already have a exhaust tip or wish to not use our 5" or 6" miter cut tip.
